GoPro file renamer scripts
Download GoPro file renamers
for Windows and Linux
The renamers are the .bat & .sh scripts that rename
MP4 and 360 files according to their last modified
date and time in the format month-day--hour-minute--ORIGINAL,
i.e. the file GS013789.360 will be renamed to:
05-29--17-45--GS013789.360,
or the file GX013789.MP4 will be renamed to:
05-29--17-45--GX013789.MP4.
The renamer.bat is for Windows, the renamer.sh is for Linux.
Unzip the files and copy them from the folder gopro-file-renamer into the folder with your GoPro videos.
Then double click the .bat or .sh file and the videos will be renamed.
If you open the script with a text editor, you'll see that at the end of each script
there are two commented lines. If you UNcomment these lines than the script,
together with renaming the mp4 or 360 files, will also delete all the .thm and .lrv files.
The scripts work only inside the their local folder.
